Things I Love Thursday!!!

Resolve High Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner (sorry picture is not so grand)

Now, I am typically a vinegar/baking soda user to get tough stains out! Recently, I don't have time to spray, wait, scrub, dry w/cloth, and vacuum. I do love my vinegar and it works wonders. I am skeptical of products that claim they can get a stain out simply by spraying and walking away! I have used resolve before so I am not new to the product itself. However, it has been a few years since I purchased from their line of products. I decided to give the Resolve High Traffic Foam a try for my carpet. Oh you can do the "old routine" of spraying and scrubbing with resolve BUT I LIKE THE IDEA OF SPRAYING AND WALKING AWAY!!!(or as they call it on the can choice number 2..."self-cleaning"). IT WORKS!!! It really works. This product will thrill the lazy  "time saving" soul ;0)!!! Oh I almost forgot, you do vacuum after it has been on the carpet for 15 minutes!! Still it is easier than "cinderella style."

I have no idea what I am doing....Just Randomness

I am not sure why anyone would want to read my blog. Seriously, it seems very mundane! I am just your average mom who loves her baby and for some I am still consider a "newbie." Honestly, I have no idea what I am doing in bloggity land. My thoughts seem jumbled at times and grammar I am not too concerned about. However, I am so grateful to those of you who do come by to see what I am doing or "not" doing!

Lately, it has been a "zoo" around here. Each day has been different with a new set of challenges for me take on. Baby bear has been teething a lot. He does not feel very good these days and it is taking a toll on his "schedule." Hubby and I have had some sleepless nights.Though I do like his outfit "mean green and not very clean." How cute is that! Plus, I have had company in/out for awhile now and I am getting ready for the next round of company. When I think the dust is going to settle, it picks right back up!

School has started back up here on my side of the world. For that I am very very GRATEFUL! I do love kids BUT my shopping trips have less crowds in it! My quiet mornings (clears throat) have somewhat returned. Honestly, who really has a quiet morning when you have an almost 5 month old in your house. Actually, my son is one that wakes up very happy and likes his play time(after feeding). He seems to follow momma's pattern of "quiet time."

So, I am always fascinated with other cultures and how they raise their families. This morning while eating my breakfast and sipping my coffee, I noticed a mom and daughter outside my yard standing on the corner. They were waiting for the "high school" bus. She is my neighbor a few doors down in our cul de sac. She does not speak english nor do I speak her language. I wish I did!  She is fairly new to the neighborhood since they have only been here for 6 months. Anyway, she walks each one of her children to the bus stop every morning. Remember she is only a few feet away from the bus stop and could watch her teenage daughter from her window. I remembered her doing this last school year when they first moved in their house. I thought it was because she is new to the neighborhood but I now realize it is her routine. I don't know if I am more impressed with the daughter or the mother. The daughter seemed to really enjoy her mom standing there talking to her about who knows what. I imagine their conversation is about what goes on at school or maybe it is a pep talk about a test she is going to take today or reminder about don't forget to do your chores when you get home. What impressed me the most was her daughter reaches for her mom, hugs her, kisses her on the cheek, and this is all happening in front of the school bus. WOW! How many of you remember being a teenager? Did you have your mom or dad take you to the bus stop and have a moment like that? I am not opposed to such sweetness. I am just amazed at the level of openness the teenage daughter had in front of her school buddies. I almost feel guilty peeking in on their sweet exchange but hey they were right outside my "viewing window." It must have been a good 10 minutes before the bus arrived. After all I had time to eat, drink coffee, change a diaper, and wash a dish or two. I thank God for letting me see such a beautiful picture between a mom and her teenager. I am just so grateful for the small things that God lets me see or peeks in at =0)!!!

This scripture came to mind...

Psalm 143:8 "Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee."

Have a blessed day my bloggy friends!

Things I Love Thursday.....

 A GOOD BOOK...

So, I decided to participate in THINGS I LOVE THURSDAY! Over at the Diaper Diaries

Anyway, I love a good book but because I am a mom I have little time. I need something easy to read and something I can put down and pick up without having to worry about where I was or what I was reading last. It has to be entertaining on some level and yet informative. This book does it all for me. I have enjoyed this book so far! It is under 200 pages! Even with a hectic schedule anyone can read this in less than a week and that is being generous! Enjoy!!!!

Hold on folks, TROUBLE is on its way!!!!!

This last weekend I went to see my best friend to go on a scrapbook retreat. We met up so our babies could see each other and we could see them. I think the pictures say it all.

"what's up boys????"

"nothing man, we are just hanging."

"hands taste good when you're teething!"

"hey, your arm taste better than my hand."

"you are sooo funny!!!! ha ha!!"

"no really, we are not causing trouble. don't you think we are cute mom?"

Nah, they really are not any trouble but don't they look like they could get into some mischievous fun?!!
